Open Air Museum Rogatec

A cultural monument and the bigest slovene ethnological park – typical rural architecture of the sub-Pannonian region of central Styria. By renovating old farm buildings and through its programmes, the museum preserves the heritage of vernacular architecture and revives the heritage of the folk culture.

We organise ethnological workshops, cultural events, vacation programms and dayly excursions for the adults and the young: an ancient market town Rogatec (700 years tradition), cultural, historical sights and the intact nature (the mountain Donačka gora, Log quarries, the spring of the river Sotla: mountaineering, cycling, horseriding, para-gliding).
