THE GREEN EXPERIENCE

A trip to Rogatec and exploring the environment with an electric car

(FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY)

• One-on-one tour of the Outdoor Museum (The bigest Open Air Museum in Slovenia) and Strmol Mansion in Rogatec
• free-of-charge amusement workshop at the Outdoor Museum in Rogatec (Friday, Saturday) or at the Art and Craft Centre of the Strmol Mansion in Rogatec (Sunday), 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• refreshments at the Museum: “zavihanka” cheese cake and herbal beverage or coffee
• a tour of the Herb Garden and a walk to the observation tower; presentation of organic cosmetics
• demonstration of paragliding (every first Sunday of the month at 4.30 p.m. in favourable weather conditions)

ENTRY POINTS:

• Terme Olimia, Village Lipa, departure at 2.30 p.m., arrival at 6.30 p.m. (3.5 hours),
  Adults €14, children €10
• Rogaška Slatina tourist train stop, departure at 3.00 p.m. – arrival at 6.00 p.m. (3 hours),
  adults €14, children €10
• You will be awaited at the parking lot in front of the Manor house at the agreed hour and taken to explore the surroundings of Rogatec with an electric car. We will be exploring:

1. the Žabnik pond,
2. beneath Donačka gora (possible hike to the top of the hill),
3. the settlement of Log featuring a quartz sandstone quarry,
4. forest glassworks (former glassmaking in nature),
5. the Majdan lake and
6. the Pavlovič beekeeping farm Adults €10, children €5

No more than 5 persons in compliance with NIPH measures.
